So, about a week ago now, a classic Sega Saturn game was released on XBOXLIVE Arcade, and that game was none other than Treasure's "Radiant Silvergun". It was originally an import title that was released in a small quantity, so it ended up fetching top dollar in the collectors circuit. Now, however, we can play it translated and in Hi-Def on our 360's. Was it worth the wait? I don't know...I haven't really sat down to play it, yet. This track right here, however...is really classy, triumphant, and majestic all at once. Perfect for the opening stage of a Shoot-em-up. (though I understand the stage order in this game is funky...while you play this stage first, it's actually stage 3?) Enjoy it!
A former feature on my personal Facebook Page, I'm going to share music that I think is great on a daily basis. Keep an eye on this page and maybe you'll find somethin' new to like.

4-17-2011 - SAVEPOINT SUNDAY! (VGM): "Seven Force" - Treasure Sound Team.
This is the theme for what is widely considered one of the greatest boss battles in video gaming history. Red and Blue, the Heroes of "Gunstar Heroes" take a fast paced wild ride through an underground railway while riding tiny speeder pods that can reverse gravity on a whim. They do battle with various troops that ride similar pods as well as troops on a train with their leader, Smash Daisuke (who is basically M. Bison...but...yeah.). Once the train is destroyed, they get ambushed by Green, who pilots the Seven Force...a strange machine that morphs into seven forms: Soldier, Tiger, Crab, Urchin, Eagle, Magnum, and Snake. Enjoy it!
